Micro Green Smoothie

Yields: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1/2 an apple

1/2 a pear

1 stalk of celery

1 large handful of greens

1 handful of micro greens

1 inch piece of fresh (or frozen) ginger

4 oz kefir (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup of water, as needed

Preparation:

  1. In a blender mix all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!

Variations:

  • Add a splash of lemon juice for more acidity

  • Freeze the apple, pear and ginger the night before

  • Try different greens such as spinach, kale or a mix

  • Add your favorite protein powder or collagen
